Central Texas Regional Vice President, H-E-B
Cathy Harm is the regional vice president for H-E-B in Central Texas. She entered the role in early 2020, just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic began, and used her deep industry knowledge and steady presence to navigate the crisis, leading over 22,000 partners (employees) and 55 stores. Harm’s career includes roles in-store operations, category management and importing. Later, as director of Own Brand, she led product development teams for some of H-E-B’s most iconic brands including Creamy Creations ice cream and Cafe Olé coffee. Other roles included director of sales, merchandising and marketing, followed by director of retail operations in San Antonio.
Harm is a diversity advocate award recipient who embraces H-E-B’s “Helping Here” and “Spirit of giving” philosophies. She serves on the board of the United Way for Greater Austin. As an avid cyclist, she uses cycling to support fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association and the NationalMultiple Sclerosis Society. Through her work with H-E-B’s Women in Leadership programs, she aims to empower and develop female leaders to significant leadership roles. Her efforts, however, are not limited to women. She is well known for talent development at all levels and with all groups.
