Advertising Account Executive

This is an opportunity to join a well-respected company in the fastest growing city in the country. Austin Woman is at a critical inflection point and is seeking a sales executive who is self-driven, curious, and collaborative in nature. Creativity, adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

You will be focused on prospecting, qualifying, handling introductory calls and scheduling and executing meetings. You must have great communication skills both written and verbal. If you are driven to achieve a higher level of success, you will find challenges and real rewards with us with unlimited income potential. We have a solid flow of incoming leads, as well as existing accounts to augment your prospecting.

In this role you:

  • Own and manage sales relationships, including the nurturing of passive leads
  • Confidently run in-product web demos for a variety of audiences
  • Drive your own deals through a full-cycle, inside sales funnel from qualifying to close
  • Have full ownership of your sales pipeline
  • Understand the importance of reports and dashboards to evaluate your pipeline and KPIs

Commissions paid on sales and renewals. Uncapped commission opportunity.

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, a bonus if it is in media sales
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Someone who thrives in ambiguity and is comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Someone who is coachable, adaptable, and resilient
  • Self-starter with the ability to exercise judgment and solve complex problems without direct supervision
  • Someone who enjoys building lasting relationships that enable you to build a book of business where referrals are the norm
  • Someone who is an Austin expert. You know all the movers and shakers (or want to meet them), know about all the new places opening and keep an eye on other local media.
  • Someone who is willing to put in the time to master your craft to understand how your buyer makes decisions

Pay: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year; base pay plus commission.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
