Tamela’s storied athletic past includes securing National Championships and multiple All-American titles, underscoring her role as a competitor and a trailblazer. This same energy and perseverance drive her efforts at SMBR, where the goal is not only to compete but to change the game for women-owned businesses.

We’re building a robust support system that uplifts women from all walks of life not only to start but to sustain and expand their businesses.” Shaw continues, “I was born and raised in this city, and the strength and uniqueness of small, women-owned businesses is so varied.
