Feminist or not? Our fore-sisters before us paved the way, yet, for some, Feminism, became a dirty word. Some women still shy away from the bra-burning antics that our sisters before us so bravely fought for.

Whether you proudly own your Feminist roots and or run for the hills, women are being called to rise together and continue to fight for equality of pay, more seats in Parliament, advance the Gender Gap in C-Suite roles and lead like never before.

However…Feminism isn’t all for one and one for all. We need to take a close look at Intersectional Feminism! The Women’s Movement originally largely excluded Women of Color. Today we get to join the conversation and move towards awareness and healing so there is equality for all women.

As it stands, black women earn $0.61 for every dollar earned by their white male counterparts. Native American women earn $0.58 to every dollar, and Latina women earn $0.53. Meanwhile, white women and Asian women earn $0.77 and $0.85, respectively.

For women to truly rise, we MUST do it together. So how do we uplift each other, heal the wounds of the past and truly see each other?
