Baby Day

After a successful inaugural year, Baby Day is expanding its no-cost early childhood development programming to nine cities across Texas, including Austin, TX! The statewide celebration inspires learning, curiosity, and celebrates the incredible period of growth in the first three years of life.
We’d love to see the Austin community come out on Saturday, February 15th for the second annual Baby Day.
resented by First3Years, Baby Day will be celebrated in Austin with a full day of scheduled activities at Thinkery. Activities are tailored for infants and toddlers from ages 0-3 and range from infant yoga to music classes to dancing, curated art, storytime, and more.
What is Baby Day and why is it important?
- With 85% of core brain development happening by age 3, Baby Day fosters a community that supports everyday interactions and play, along with responsive, nurturing care to build healthy brains, and a strong start for all children.
- Baby Day is the only statewide celebration of the first three years of life, a day acknowledging and celebrating the incredible period of growth in infants and toddlers.
- On Saturday, February 15th, 2020, parents and caregivers with young children in the Austin area are invited to come out to Thinkery for a free day of specialized activities that foster early brain development.
- Baby Day is presented by First3Years, a Texas-based non-profit organization advancing the healthy development of infants, toddlers, and their families.
