Virtual Classes and Events
Discover a range of classes and event topics covering day-to-day business management taught by industry experts and specialized instructors. The Small Business Division offers a Business Skills Certification in partnership with the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Professional Education. If you complete six of these classes, you are eligible to receive the certification. Topics include: marketing, business plan writing, managing money, managing people and small-business taxes.
Disaster Relief Resources
The Economic Development Department supports entrepreneurs during the pandemic by providing information, tools and resources virtually. The Small Business Resources Directory is a database of local, state and federal governments, non-profit agencies and community resources.
