Get in the Game: A Conversation on Sports and Social Change

What: Join the LBJ Presidential Library and UT Austin’s Center for Sports Leadership & Innovation and Center for Sports Communication & Media for an evening with Ibtihaj Muhammad, the first Muslim American woman in hijab to compete for the United States in the Olympic Games; Nate Boyer, a former active-duty Green Beret and NFL player, ; and Daron K. Roberts, the founding director of the Center for Sports Leadership & Innovation.

Fall Pecan Street Festival 

When: September 22 & 23

What: The Pecan Street Festival is a free two-day arts festival held twice yearly in downtown Austin’s Sixth Street Historic District featuring 300 vendors, food concessions, three stages of music, kids rides and petting zoo, and so much more.

Intro to Felt Flowers Workshop
