Toni McKinley is the Executive Director of Magdalene House Austin, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering survivors of trafficking through safe housing, trauma-informed care and holistic support. With over a decade of experience in counseling and advocacy, McKinley has developed nationally recognized programs that focus on healing and independence for survivors. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and specializes in neuropsychology and trauma recovery. A survivor leader herself, McKinley uses her personal experience to inform her work, ensuring that survivors’ voices are at the center of every decision. She is an award-winning advocate, speaker and author of What Happened To Me: A Trafficking Survivors Guide to Healing and Empowerment. Passionate about systemic change, she actively collaborates with advisory boards and task forces to advance anti-trafficking initiatives. When not working, McKinley enjoys mentoring emerging leaders and spending time in the vibrant Austin community she calls home.
