Kimberly Brown, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon and fellowship-trained surgical oncologist in UT Health Austin’s Surgical Oncology Clinic. She specializes in the treatment of breast, liver and skin tumors. Brown is a professor and serves as the associate chair of Education for the Dell Medical School Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at UT Austin. In addition to caring for patients, she is transforming medical education by integrating leadership training, learning science and well-being strategies into physician training programs. Dedicated to shaping the next generation of compassionate caregivers, Brown emphasizes collaboration and empowers patients to take an active role in their health. “Every patient deserves a tailored approach to their treatment and a supportive team that prioritizes their well-being.
