Kareece Sacco is the executive director of the Austin-based, international nonprofit Well Aware. Her tenure as an intern led her to a full-time position as director of operations and, after just two years, earned the most executive leadership position within the organization. As one of the youngest executives in the water-charity sector, Sacco helped lead Well Aware to break $1 million in revenue and continues to ambitiously drive the organization’s growth and impact. As a woman-founded and woman-led organization, Well Aware leads its industry with a groundbreaking, innovative model for clean-water projects in East Africa.
