2025 Sets off the inaugural League One Volleyball season in Austin.

Across the globe, fandom, viewership and representation are reaching new highs in women’s professional sports. Now, more than ever, the stage is lit for women athletes who have dedicated their lives to reaching their athletic dreams.
2024 left various shining examples behind, reflecting the growing opportunity and recognition within women’s sports. A most recent 2024 progression for women’s professional sports has arrived right here in Austin, a professional volleyball club. The League One Volleyball (LOVB) foundation kicked off its inaugural pre-season in November to prepare for the first official beginning in January 2025. The league features five other clubs across the country including Atlanta, GA, Houston,TX, Madison, WI, Salt Lake City, UT and Omaha, NB.
LOVB AUSTIN
Among the six clubs, Austin has a unique edge, eight University of Texas Volleyball alumna – many of which have already played alongside one another. The 14 players of the Austin club join forces and bring an impressive list of accomplishments leading them to this moment.
What to know about the eight Longhorns returning to Austin:
Khatt Bell: Outside hitter
Born in Mesquite, Bell played for Texas from 2011-2014. In her four years as a Longhorn, she played in three NCAA tournament appearances including an NCAA title in 2012. Post-graduation, Bell continued her career abroad playing in six different countries and most recently competed in the Pro Volleyball Federation.
Molly McCage: Middle Blocker
A Central Texas native, born in Spring, McCage celebrated alongside Bell in 2012 in their NCAA Championship win. Since 2016 she’s remained active across pro leagues. After three seasons in Germany, three with Athletes Unlimited League and one in the Professional Volleyball League, McCage returns to Austin as a true veteran.
Asjia O’neal: Middle Blocker
The North Texan out of Southlake, experienced impactful seasons at Texas, leading the team to back to back titles in 2022 and 2023. Immediately following her collegiate career, in 2023 she made her professional debut with the United States Women’s National Team in the 2023 Volleyball Nations.
Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres: Setter
Moving from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Utah, Ka’aha’aina-Torres started her college career at Utah and transferred to Texas in 2021. She celebrated a NCAA title in her first year at Austin and finished on a high note with a second title in 2022 alongside teammate O’neal. Heading into LOVB, Ka’aha’aina-Torres brings in two years of professional action under her belt after playing in Puerto Rico and France.
Zoe Fleck Jarvis: Libero
A California native, Fleck spent two seasons with UC Santa Barbara until transferring to UCLA where she earned PAC-12 Libero of the Year and All-American recognitions. In 2022 Fleck moved to UT Austin and finished her college career by winning an NCAA title. Since then, Fleck has played for the U.S. Women’s National Team and played two pro seasons in Germany while also owning her own company “All out Volleyball” hosting camps for young athletes.
Chiaka Ogbogu: Middle Blocker
A Founding Athlete of LOVB, Ogbogu, from Coppell, spent her entire collegiate career at Texas earning a multitude of accolades including All-American awards and setting school records in blocks and assists. Post-graduation, Ogbogu played for top clubs around the world and brings two Olympic medals back to Austin, gold from Tokyo 2020 and silver in the Paris 2024.
Juliann Faucette: Opposite Hitter
From San Diego, California, Faucette played with the Longhorns for four years, appearing in three NCAA semifinals and earning titles such as Big 12 Player of the year. She followed this success with a six-year professional career across the globe, began coaching youth teams and started her own sports-talk podcast, “Behind the Athlete” in 2019.
Logan Eggleston: Outside Hitter:
Originally from Tennessee, Eggleston made herself at home with the Longhorns for a five-year college career where she earned multiple All-American recognitions, Big 12 Conference Player of the Year, freshman of the year and in 2022 was named as the NCAA Woman of the Year. She continued her career professionally in Turkey before joining LOVB as a Founding Athlete.
2025 Schedule
The 13-week season begins on January, 9 for Austin with two away matches in Houston. During week six, the LOVB Classic takes place, a winner-takes-all competition hosted in Kansas City, Missouri. ESPN will stream all LOVB matches across its linear networks and streaming platforms.
Austin Volleyball will play a total of seven home matches, five taking place at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park and two at Strahan Arena of the Texas State University campus. The 2025 schedule and tickets can be viewed at lovb.com
