LaKesha Small is an engineering manager with more than 18 years of experience in the semi-conductor industry keeping families connected through technology. Throughout the years, she has learned that in her professional and personal life, her mission is to inspire others to set goals and dream big. She is the author of the children’s book, Professor Circuitry Explores Engineering, that provides an opportunity for children to explore careers in engineering and how it connects to our world. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began hosting Lunchbox Ladies ATX, a series of online networking events to connect women in Austin while practicing social distancing. She is also very passionate about serving others. In Manor, Texas, she is a leader in the community, youth mentor and member of several nonprofit organizations, including serving as the founder of the Lee Small Foundation providing scholarships for those in pursuit of engineering.
