This dessert is one of my favorite late-night snacks, especially when I’m craving processed sugars. Make the passion-fruit syrup ahead of time for easy assembly and store it in the refrigerator.

Toasted Almond and Passion-fruit Dessert Bowl

Serves two to three

Ingredients

2 cups Plain + Simple Kokonut Yogurt

2/3 cup passion-fruit pulp

1 tablespoon honey

1/3 cup almond slices, lightly toasted

1/4 cup dried coconut, shredded and toasted lightly in a dry skillet

Directions

  1. Divide the yogurt into bowls.
  2. Place the passion-fruit pulp and honey in a small pan over medium-high heat and cook for four to five minutes or until it’s thickened. Allow it to cool.
  3. Drizzle your desired amount of passion-fruit syrup over the yogurt.
  4. Top it with the toasted almonds and coconut.
