Women@Austin April Roundtable: A Founder’s Journey
April 17, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
Join us for an amazing April Roundtable with Autumn Manning, Co-Founder at YouEarnedIt & Tech Entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur is hard work. It’s fun and exhilarating and an amazing, wild ride, but it’s a lot of work to build a good product, a healthy company, and a culture where the best people want to come – and stay – when things aren’t always easy.
Every entrepreneur’s journey is unique, but for Autumn, being an entrepreneur and a mother is one of the most challenging things she’s ever tackled. As Co-Founder and CEO of YouEarnedIt, the leading HR SaaS company, Autumn Manning has encountered her fair share of ups and down. From growing the company as the lone executive for the first two years to raising a $6.5 Million Series A in January 2017. From there, acquiring a market competitor to an eventual exit to Vista Equity Partners, Autumn realized that you never grow out of problems to solve, the problems scale to a whole new level. In this session, Autumn will share how she got started in entrepreneurship, what it’s like scaling a company and raising money in a competitive market, and lessons she’s learned along the way.
Parking is available at through the Aloft valet for $10. Just bring your parking ticket to the event for a validation stamp.
There is also a selection of affordable lots on 8th and Neches not too far from The Refinery.
