Red Bull has announced today that Red Bull BC One, the biggest and most prestigious one-on-one breaking competition in the world, will return to the U.S. for a series of regional qualifiers, including its first-ever stop in Austin, Texas on August 6-7. As one of five regional stops within the 2022 United States Cypher competition series, fans can purchase tickets to the Red Bull BC One Cypher South USA on Sunday, August 7.
As one of five regional U.S. qualifiers this year, the Red Bull BC One Cypher South USA will be held at ACL Live at the Moody Theater with a knockout bracket-style tournament on Sunday, August 7 featuring 16 of the best b-boy and 16 of the b-girl break dancers from across Texas and beyond. Tickets to the main tournament on Sunday are available for purchase starting 7/12 for just $10.
The day prior on Saturday, there is an open-entry competition for aspiring breakers as they seek to earn 1 of 4 open slots to compete on Sunday, as well as a series of free workshops and community panels led by members of the Red Bull BC One All Stars dance crew as they teach the basics of break dancing.
