Courtney Hogenson, RN, CMC, ALNC, is the founder and CEO of Call-Light, an on-demand health care platform that connects care-seeking clients with independent nurses and clinicians to provide in-home medical care anytime, anywhere. As a nurse and patient advocate, Hogenson knows keeping patients in the comfort of their own homes is crucial to driving positive outcomes and maintaining dignity. However, most insurance plans only cover a few home health visits for a few weeks, leaving care seekers with the daunting task of finding, screening and hiring a private nurse or clinician with the skills and availability they need. Motivated to bridge this gap between hospital-to-home healthcare, Hogenson is developing a safe, efficient, affordable platform through which clients can find, hire and pay vetted nurses and clinicians. The platform empowers clients to choose their own skilled care providers and empowers care providers to choose their own hours, rates and clients. Call-Light launches in Spring 2023.
