Dine & Drink to Benefit the Central Texas Food Bank

Sponsored Content brought to you by Central Texas Food Bank

Austin Restaurant Weeks runs through Sept. 11.

Dine out to fight hunger! Austin Restaurant Weeks (ARW), presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Delta Air Lines is back for 2022. It kicked off on Thursday, Sept. 1 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 11. During ARW, participating dining and drinking establishments will offer prix-fixe menus and drink specials with a portion of sales donated to the Central Texas Food Bank.

Hunger is a serious issue here in Central Texas, where 1 in 7 of our neighbors—and 1 in 5 kids—can’t be sure where their next meal will come from. That’s why Austin Restaurant Weeks is such an exciting event. It’s a delicious and simple way to help fight hunger in our community while enjoying some of the best food and drink Austin has to offer. Since 2018, ARW has raised enough to provide nearly two million meals for Central Texans in need.

During this dining extravaganza, you’ll find specially priced lunches, dinners, cocktails, wine and beer at more than 80 participating restaurants, bars and breweries throughout the greater Austin area.

For restaurateurs, it’s a great opportunity to help fight hunger while providing diners who might not be regular patrons with an easy, economical way to dine with them. For diners, it’s a way to help our neighbors in need while enjoying some of the best dishes this amazing, food-driven city has to offer.

Diners are not directly solicited for donations. Since Austin Restaurant Weeks is planned entirely by Food Bank staff and volunteers, 100% of the contribution from each meal or cocktail goes directly to fighting hunger in Central Texas. All you have to do is enjoy a delicious meal or beverage to help others get the meals they need.

Participants are offering one or more of the following options during ARW, with a set dollar donation from each going to the Food Bank:

  • A two to three-course lunch priced at $20
  • A three to four-course dinner priced at either $40 or $60
  • Specialty menu items at various prices
  • Tito’s Handmade Vodka-based cocktails at various prices
  • Establishment’s choice of beer or wine offered at various prices

Austinites have always come through for the Food Bank to help us provide nutritious food for the more than 60,000 people we serve each week.

Thanks for coming to the table to support the fight against hunger here in Central Texas.
